Computer Policies

  • Any and all work will be estimated within the first fifteen minutes of work. This is to ensure that the customer has an idea of how long it will take to correct the problem.
  • When working on computers, it is quite easy to find another problem, when this happens you will be informed about it, and asked if you want to add the estimated additional time it will take to correct it.
  • A detailed list of work completed will be given to the customer, if requested, via email within one business day of work completed.
  • A discount will be given if payment is received at time of services rendered.
  • All explainations will be presented to the client in simple understandable terms that they will understand and be able to make educated decisions about their systems
  • The priorities of the client are to be understood before the computer is to be fixed so that the clients time is not wasted fixing things that are not neccessary for the client.
  • When prosented with a issue, a series of solutions will be presented to the client, ranging from least expensive to most expensive. If I don't have the resources to correct the issue, then the client will be given a reference to someone who does have the resources to correct the issue.
  • All Computer support is based upon a an per hour basis, one hour minimum.

Server Policies

These policies only pertain to use on server systems.

  • Only one administrator per account. This means that only one person knows the password to the one account. If the client wishes to end services with the company, then they can do it knowing full well that they have blocked access by disabling or deleting the account.
  • No account is to be deleted by the company. This means that if there are users that you don't want to have access anymore then the accounts will be disabled. That way any information that was attached to them will still be accessible.
  • Your information shall remain private and confidential at all times. This means that I will not ever use your information for anything other then your needs.
  • All work is to be documented for future review if needed.
  • Any software that is no longer supported by the developer is not to be maintained or accessed.
  • All Servers will be remotely accessible.
